Chemical Peels

Alpha Hydroxy Acids

We use glycolic acid to perform chemical peels that target fine lines, tone and texture. This popular peel does a fantastic job at minimizing fine lines and enlarged pores while simultaneously evening skin tone. It's not just limited to the face; this peel can be applied on the neck, décolleté, arms, and hands. There is little to no downtime with glycolic peels and the results are instantaneous.

Beta Hydroxy Acids

Plant derived beta hydroxy acids are most commonly used on patients suffering from acne and clogged pores. It is uniquely able to penetrate the follicle and trigger shedding of clogged debris, making it appropriate for patients with oily skin and open comedones. Salicylic acid also has an anti-inflammatory effect which may reduce irritation from acne.

Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA)

TCA is one of the only peels safe to use on skin types IV-VI. After the peel is completed there is some down time that can last anywhere from 1-2 weeks. During the first week the skin is drying and preparing to peel and by the second week it has peeled and the new skin is fresh and healthy. TCA chemical peels have been found to help with sun damage, facial wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and pigment abnormalities. This peel can also be applied to other parts of the body that have been exposed to sun or are in need of repair.

Blended Peels

Not all skin is created equally. We understand and appreciate the uniqueness of skin and therefore offer peels that are specifically blended and formulated for your skin care needs and concerns.
