Laser Hair Removal
Unwanted hair can be embarrassing and a hassle to remove. Imagine if you could significantly reduce or eliminate unwanted hair. Now you can with laser hair removal! We use our Candela YAG laser to produce gentle beams of light to get rid of hair. The hair’s melanin (the part that gives hair its color) absorbs the light, which turns into heat. The heat damages the follicle (but not the surrounding skin or tissue) and prevents it from producing more hair. It’s an effective option for most men and women.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
Many patients may feel a small zap of energy during the procedure, but pain can be controlled through icing the skin and using an appropriate energy setting.
How many sessions will I need?
Laser hair removal results vary per individual depending on skin type, hair color, etc. Some may see results in as little as 3-4 treatments while for others it may take around 8-10 treatments.
Is laser hair removal permanent?
When we take our laser and zap the hair follicle, it destroys it permanently. But hair grows in different cycles and what you may think is your hair returning is actually the hairs that were not present at the time of your procedure. Touch-ups may be needed to target new hair growth from the body revascularizing.

Before Your Treatment:
Shave the area to be treated night before/morning!
DO NOT USE any other hair removal methods or products such as waxing, plucking, or Nair 4-6 weeks prior.
Discontinue harsh chemicals 5-7 days before (retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid etc.)
No sun exposure at least 2 weeks prior.
No antibiotics at least 2 weeks prior.
No pregnant or breastfeeding patients.
